Amanda | Calgary Boudoir Photographer

My Edmonton boudoir marathon introduced me to so many amazing women! So many!

I already know that my work allows me to connect with people. This time around I spent 13 days with 13 different women. It went by too fast! Once I finally got on the road to head home, it felt a little bit like a blur. I’m certain that times goes faster as we get older. To quote a friend of mine, she said: “The days go by long but the years speed by”. I couldn’t agree more.

And then it all becomes a memory!

My time in Edmonton taught me so much. I learned other people’s stories; their challenges, their accomplishments, their hardships, their rewards, their dreams and their hilarious moments. They spoke of their families, their kids, their partners, their travels, their day-to-day thoughts… There’s a reason why I do what I do. Outside of loving the art of photography, it’s actually to connect with others. We all have our stories!

Meet Amanda! She jumped onboard for the few days I was there. A friend of my sister’s and I can see why! What a doll! Truly! You’re delicate, hilarious and so very authentic. It was an absolute pleasure spending the day with you. I’m pretty sure we may be able to do it again sometime soon. Fingers crossed!
