Well it’s been far too long since I’ve blogged! Now I’m going through all the amazing images from the last year (yes, it’s been that long!) and I can’t wait to share them with you.
I’ll start with something a little more personal to me, my son. This little man is my middle son. I call him “my little explorer”. There is no doubt in my mind that he was made for adventure! It doesn’t matter where we go, the first thing he has to do is check out the area and every corner within it. He can start up a conversation with anyone, although I’m not sure if that’s the best thing. His curiosity and imagination are out of this world. A cute little tidbit about him: for two years he’s kept a birthday card which he pretends is his computer. I have no idea why he picked that one birthday card but he did. It’s at his bedside and he pretends he’s working sometimes.
Like every other little boy I’ve met, he’s taken by cars, trucks, garbage trucks, diggers, cranes, monster trucks…. Everything except planes and rocket ships. Apparently flying is of no interest to him.
Here we are in Walmart and he had to have Mater the Tow Truck. Everyone needs a tow truck! Who else will save his hot wheels when they get flat tires or need to go to the shop?! He’s growing far too fast. I miss them when they’re little. I also look forward to seeing them grow into the men they’ll become. Motherhood! It’s a bitter sweet experience but mostly sweet 🙂
